1. Quality is a record, not a promise

Nothing leaves on the strength of an assurance. Every product is tested before it is packed — routine, type and special tests, run to the international standards that apply to it, and each unit tested on its own rather than by sample. The results are held against that unit's serial number, so anything we have supplied can be looked up years later — by us, or by the engineer who owns it now.

    • Routine, type and special testing to IEC and IEEE standards
    • Every unit tested individually, not by sample
    • Reports retrievable by serial number
  2. Environmental responsibility is a duty, not an option

At HIGH VOLTAGE INDUSTRY, we place environmental responsibility at the core of our operations. In an industry where oil, gas, electrical and energy activities intersect, protecting the environment is not an option — it is a duty. We operate under internationally recognized environmental certifications, ensuring our processes meet strict standards. From design through manufacturing and service, we integrate sustainability, waste reduction and responsible resource use into every project.

    • Internationally recognized environmental certifications
    • Sustainability and waste reduction, from design through service
    • Responsible use of resources on every project
  3. Safety is non-negotiable

At HIGH VOLTAGE INDUSTRY, safety is non-negotiable. We follow globally recognized HSE standards and embed rigorous procedures into every stage of our work. From risk assessments and PPE compliance to lockout-tagout protocols and ongoing training, we make safety a daily discipline — not just a checklist.

    • Globally recognized HSE standards
    • Risk assessments, PPE compliance, lockout-tagout protocols
    • Ongoing training — a daily discipline, not a checklist
  4. The same standard on a platform as in the workshop

The work happens on client sites, on offshore platforms and in our own workshop, and the standard does not move with the location. Offshore and shutdown work is planned around the facility's own permits and outage windows rather than ours. Emergency call-outs are answered by the engineers who commission and maintain these units, so nobody arrives on site meeting the equipment for the first time.

    • Onshore, offshore and workshop — one standard
    • Planned around the client's permits and shutdown windows
    • Call-outs answered by the commissioning engineers

STANDARDS COMPLIANCE

Testing performed to IEC 60076 and/or IEEE/ANSI C57.12.90 — test reports available by serial number.

Certified to international management-system standards for quality, the environment, customer satisfaction and the oil and gas sector — certificates available on request.

What we actually measure

Hover a test to light up the part of the transformer it measures.

  • Insulation resistance measurement (core/clamp, windings/earth)
  • Winding DC resistance measurement
  • Voltage ratio and vector group verification
  • Excitation current measurement
  • Dissipation factor (tan δ) measurement
  • Winding capacitance measurement
  • Short-circuit impedance measurement
  • Magnetic balance measurement
  • Dielectric frequency response (DFR) analysis
  • Frequency response analysis (FRA)
  • Oil analysis — DGA, dielectric breakdown, water content, acidity, color
  • OLTC functionality testing, bushing cleaning, silica gel replacement
